Russia Threatens To Nuke

Recent statements coming from one of Russia’s highest-ranking military commanders indicate that America and Israel plan to go ahead with war on Iran despite the release of the National Intelligence Estimate late last year. Russia’s military chief of staff General Yuri Baluyevsky threatened the use of nuclear weapons in case of a major threat. He said that, although they have no plans of attacking anyone, they nevertheless “consider it necessary for everyone around the world community to clearly understand, that to defend the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Russia and its allies, military forces will be used, including, preventively, the use of nuclear weapons.” His statements (which can only have been made in concert with the overall policies established by his boss President Vladimir Putin) come a week after George Bush’s visit to the Persian Gulf, in which he attempted to rally the nations in that region around U.S. and Israeli plans of “confronting Iran’s nuclear program before it is too late.”

Get The “Right” California License Plate

On Tuesday, April 7, 2008, the Orange County Register, reported that the Confidential Records Program has handed out a total of 996, 716 protected license plates to 1,800 state and local agencies. In 1978, the Confidential Records Program was made to protect vulnerable police officers who faced threats from criminals. Now the plate are being given out to judges, district attorneys, politician and their ilk, and anyone else with the right connections. What’s the outrage?

These plates keep the identities of the drivers from being put in any database so that they can avoid traffic tickets, toll roads, overtime parking tickets, and any other violations because their is no address to mail it too! They have already skipped out on toll roads alone to the tune of 5 million! The amount they have ducked in speeding and parking violations skipping is not being provided, even through the freedom of information of information act. Just to make this truly outrageous State Assemblywoman Sandre Swanson (D-Alameda), had introduced legislation to expand the confidential plates to dog catchers, zoo veterenarians, firefighters and code enforcement officers!

I guess it can be called a “sin tax” for all others Californians, because it’s a sin they’re not “connected” and can’t get one.

Man Rapes Woman Over The Phone

TUNIS, Tunisia, April 27 (UPI) — A Tunisian family alleges their daughter was raped during a telephone conversation with a man, a lawyer for the family said. The 30-year-old man said he never touched the young woman. But he acknowledged he heard her scream while they were “totally into” an erotic telephone conversation — and that she reported bleeding, Al Arabiya reported. Maha al-Metebaa, a lawyer representing the family, told the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Qabs the case needs careful investigation because of its unprecedented allegations. He said a medical examination had determined that the woman, 20, was no longer a virgin. “The intercourse did take place with all its details but verbally only,” he said. “The sexual act did not really happen because the physical proximity factor is not there, yet it happened because there is a direct physical impact – the loss of virginity.”

This is totally absurd and the lawyer who is suing should have his license suspended.

Is it asking too much to HANG UP THE PHONE?
